Wow. I haven't updated my journal since school started, waaaaay back in August of 2008. Well. Plenty of things are going on, most notably I have been hard at work on my smugmug page and my flickr page.
Also, I'm proud to present to you: craciunoiu.net - This is a website me and my brother have been meaning to launch for a very long time, and now we've finally gotten it up and running. In case you didn't know, I also design websites and other things. This website shows what we can do and some of our past work.
If you're like me and you've been using Adobe RGB because it has a larger gamut, think again. It turns out that most web browsers do not display images saved in the Adobe RGB color space correctly. This is true for many picture viewers, so the only place they will display correctly is Photoshop and other image editing software. Adobe RGB is covers a wider gamut of colors(mostly in the greens and cyans) which would make a difference ONLY if the printer can actually print the extra colors. Most commercial printers cannot. My advice to you: shoot in RAW & save all your JPEGs & PNGs in sRGB.
Note: RAW files do not have a set color space => you can change it anytime you want.
As you might have guessed, all my pictures on deviantart were in Adobe RGB, therefore they looked washed out, but I am glad to announce that I took the time to re-upload most of the images in the sRGB color space, so now you will finally get to see the pictures the way I meant them to be seen! Please go through my gallery and, while you're at it, feel free to
I've also reorganized my gallery into helpful folders! Check it out!

I actually like the surreal effect on some of the HDR's; I think they look better that way.
